Lowenstein Sandler represented private equity firm Traub Capital Partners in connection with its majority investment in HITS Shows, the largest producer of hunter/jumper horse shows in the United States.
For more than 40 years, HITS has established itself as a leader in its space, having revolutionized the industry when it produced three of the then richest Grand Prix events in the world. By the numbers, HITS operates five venues; 46 weeks of sanctioned hunter/jumper competitions; six weeks of dressage events; and 65,000 horses expected to compete in 2022.
Traub Capital Partners will leverage HITS' exceptional history, track record and reputation as part of its vision to bolster and further invest in the five show locations currently operated by the company. The investment will allow HITS to make improvements to all five venues with the goal of not only investing in the facilities and infrastructure, but also in elevating the level of service and hospitality.
The Lowenstein deal team included Michael A. Brosse, Lauren M. Troeller, Jennifer A. Monge, Michael Walutes, Marc S. Kurzweil, Deangeor Chin, Stefanie Manna, Elvis Pinos, Geena M. Caporale, Kimberly E. Lomot, Stephen Tanico, Eric Jesse, Bryan Sterba, Judith G. Rubin, Mark Heinzelmann, Richard F. Ricci, Andrew E. Graw, Darren Goodman, and Batool T. Banker.
