Lowenstein Sandler represented Sightway Capital (Sightway) in the sale of its majority position in Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) to global investment firm KKR. Sightway will continue to hold a stake as minority shareholder in ISC, a multi-line insurance distributor that builds end-to-end insurance products by connecting a broad network of insurance markets and distribution channels through advanced artificial intelligence (AI) engineering and proprietary data analytics.
Sightway is a Two Sigma company focused on private equity investments. Sightway and ISC partnered in 2018 to expand ISC’s technology platform and its suite of insurance products. Since then, ISC’s platform has grown to include over 5,000 insurance agencies and brokers.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
