Lowenstein Sandler represented Reach Capital as the lead investor in a $3.4 million series seed funding round in LabLabee, a startup that provides a platform for training workers at solution providers and vendors in the latest technology for networking, telecommunications, and 5G use cases.
The round also included participation from Classera, Brighteye Ventures, and e& capital.
Lablabee bills its training as immersive, affordable and essential at a time when demand for 5G, internet of things and cloud computing surge and transform the telecom industry.
It plans to leverage the funding for gaining a leadership position in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and accelerating growth in the U.S. The France-based vendor wants to grow its headcount and its partnerships with the leading cloud providers and add hands-on training labs for VMware and other vendors.
Reach Capital is a venture capital firm that focuses on education technology (edtech), and workforce development. Reach invests in founders who elevate human potential and ignite purpose across learning, health, and work.
The deal team included Anthony W. Raymundo, Chad M.P. Weeks, and Henry M. Xu.
