Jeff Cohen will present two seminars to retailers, importers and distributors in the cycling business, who will meet to learn about the latest products and trends, attend valuable education sessions and network with the top retailers and suppliers in the industry. The first program, "Fortifying Your Credit Foundation: What Are Your Legal Options When A Customer Approaches Chapter 11?" will provide tips, tools and best practices that credit managers can put in place now to maximize future collections.  Jeff will also discuss guidelines for evaluating potential credit counterparties and suggested ways to minimize exposure in bankruptcy, specifically with respect to outstanding receivables, as well as ways to enhance recoveries in the event that a credit counterparty files for bankruptcy. The following day, Jeff will offer "Do I Really Need to Read This? Bankruptcy Filings Every Credit Manager Should Understand," a program designed to guide creditors through all documents they might receive as creditors to a debtor in Chapter 11 bankruptcy without requesting special notice.
