Priya Persaud prepares and prosecutes patent application in the computer and electrical engineering fields, with particular focus on data center technology, networking, artificial intelligence, financial technology, mobile devices, and wireless, security, and authentication systems. She prepares and files responses to Office Actions issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as international patent offices and search authorities.

While pursuing her J.D., Priya served as a student attorney in the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where she counseled clients on trademark, copyright, and patent matters, and drafted trademark, copyright, and patent opinion letters as well as provisional patent applications.

Prior to law school, Priya earned bachelor’s degrees in computer science, jurisprudence, and political science.
