John Stolz represents a broad array of clients, both locally and nationally, in all facets of commercial real estate, with a focus on complex transactions in the industrial, multifamily, retail, and office sectors. His deal background includes representing companies in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of commercial properties throughout the country. He also regularly guides clients in forming joint ventures, capital raising, and the planning and implementation of significant development projects.

Private companies, multi-national investment platforms and institutional players alike turn to John for his ability to skillfully tailor his representation to their unique business needs. He regularly advises companies at various stages of their life cycle in developing and executing core strategies, long-range planning, and portfolio management.   • Represented a global industrial property developer in the $92 million strategic acquisition of a former newspaper printing facility in New Jersey, which will be redeveloped to accommodate more than 400,000 square feet of innovative logistics space.
  • Represented regional developer in the $41 million refinancing of a newly-constructed, 17-story, 231-unit multifamily property located in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Represented regional developer in negotiating a full-building industrial lease with an American multinational corporation focusing on supply chain management and logistics in the highly competitive port submarket of Kearny, NJ.
  • Represented national third party logistics provider in negotiating a 400,000 sq. ft., full-building warehouse lease for cutting-edge ESG-conscious space in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area.
  • Represented publicly-listed (Australian) global industrial property developer in the acquisition of a 617,000 square foot warehousing, logistics, and distribution center in New Jersey’s highly competitive Meadowlands submarket for $150 million.
  • Represented the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority in the disposition of 700+ acres of undeveloped land in the Meadowlands corridor, which included coordinating the closure, and ongoing operation and management, of four landfills, and facilitating the repositioning of the land for warehouse and logistics redevelopment.
  • Represented privately held, family-owned real estate company in the strategic acquisition of a multi-family portfolio comprised of more than 15 Class-A assets across eight states and more than 3,500 units with an aggregate transaction value approaching $1billion. The transaction included the programmatic coordination of financing arranged through a combination of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, life insurance companies and portfolio lenders, as well as raising private capital.
  • Represented private equity fund in the disposition of two, vintage high-rise luxury residential towers in the Forest Hill section of Newark, NJ.
