Alyssa D’Antonio’s practice focuses on patent prosecution in the chemical, materials, and life sciences fields. She drafts and files patent applications, responds to actions from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and has experience with inter partes review and post grant review. In frequent communication with both examiners and inventors, Alyssa helps clients develop strategies that expedite their patent prosecution and facilitate their business development through legal opinions, freedom to operate analysis, and due diligence.
Alyssa has handled litigation issues for pharmaceutical clients, including brand-name and generic manufacturers. She gained industry experience at the FDA Regulatory group at Pfizer, where she supported in-house counsel on matters relating to the regulatory oversight of safety, quality, regulatory strategy, manufacturing, and medical operations.
Prior to her legal career, Alyssa conducted pharmaceutical research at a leading university in Boston as well as at the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuing Manufacturing.
