Although artificial intelligence has been around for decades and has been integrated gradually into many different facets of our lives, AI — particularly generative AI — exploded suddenly into the zeitgeist with the launch of ChatGPT in 2022.
There are now numerous foundational generative AI models that enable the creation of computer-generated content, including text, images, audio and video.
