Lowenstein Sandler represented Zetta Venture Partners as lead investor of a $7.5 million seed funding round in Guardrails AI, the AI assurance company. Zetta was joined by Factory, Pear VC, Bloomberg Beta, and GitHub Fund; AI angels like Ian Goodfellow, Logan Kilpatrick, and Lip-bu Tan also participated. The funding will be used to expand the company's engineering and product teams as well as to continue to advance its products.
Guardrails AI aims to empower companies to harness the full potential of generative AI applications reliably and with confidence by building tools to measure, monitor, and mitigate AI risks.
Zetta is an early-stage venture firm that leads pre-seed and seed rounds in AI-driven B2B businesses.
The Lowenstein deal team included Alyssa A. Frederick, Ed Zimmerman, and Tina Aoun.
